Once
I wedded and affected into my own home I started buying at the local grocery store and meals ne'er
tasted the same. I suppose a lot of that was due to my mothers cookery but over the years I have knowing how to cook like she makes but still my food did not taste the same.
Why? Well her vegetables were still being full-grown by my father and my vegetables were being full-grown by massive agri-businesses. The supermarkets sell this food as FRESH.
My local grocery store ships in fresh produce from all over the world. Fresh green beans flown in from 6,000 miles away. Fresh chilies flown in from 8,000 miles miles away. And even as fresh fruit from 12,000 miles away. Labor is cheap in developing counties and this is often wherever

Do not do the same mistakes as an Agri-Businesses
Agri-business simply do not seem to care simply about the land. Here are several ideas simply about agri-businesses and I am sure you wish recognize several if not all of them. - Agri-business do not seem to care simply about the soil but simply care simply about their profit
- Agri-business appear to grow vegetables with massive doses of amorphous chemical fertilizers
- Agri-business appear to grow vegetables with massive doses of pesticides and herbicides
- Agri-business seem to grow vegetables on massive mill farms covering thousands of acres
- Agri-business cannot cognize every square yard of their land and what goes into it
- I often think agri-businesses do not care simply about the taste of their products, but simply how the vegetables look on the grocery store shelf because that is wherever
they appear to do their profits.
The supermarkets are simply as bad. They do not care for the land, they simply seem to care for their profits. They seem to care simply about how the vegetables look, but not what it tastes like. Supermarkets do not even as seem to care for their suppliers. I used to be a provider to the biggest grocery store chain in the UK and whilst they thought my product was fantastic they wanted to driving my prices down. They do this time and time again. The only way I could continue to supply them was to cut corners to support my price low.
How makes an agri-business cut corners? They use much in-organic chemical fertilizers, they use much and stronger pesticides and herbicides, they cut labor costs. They grow mass produced, cheap and with chemicals
treated vegetables. These are then oversubscribed on to you as fresh and lots of businesses support adding their profit on before it gets to you. You pay for this.
By following the principals of High Density Horticulture you cut out the in-organic agri-business practices and the huge quantities of herbicides and pesticides they use. With what you learn in this book, you wish shortly be growing high quality, tasty, wholesome vegetables in your own High Density Garden Beds - simply like me.
Soon, your friends, neighbors, and dinner party guests, wish be covetous of what you can grow in such a small space and with so little effort. They wish be asking you how you grew such fantastic tasting vegetables. More... |
